In a vault beneath this tomb are deposited the remains of ANN TURNER, wife of JOHN TURNER of Lane-End, and daughter of WILLIAM EMERY of this place. She died August 23rd 1777 in the 38th year of her age. She was a woman of great piety and charity and a virtuous and prudent wife. In memory of JOHN TURNER of Lane-End who departed this life December 21st 1787. Aged 49 years. His industry render'd him a most useful member of Society. His charity and benevolence a good Christian.
